About Al Hasanaat

Al Hasanaat aims to draw attention to the humanitarian crisis in Somalia and to improve the living conditions of people in extreme precarious conditions. Al Hasanaat was founded by a group of motivated individuals who strongly believe in ending human suffering in Somalia.

“The formation of Al Hasanaat, an international NGO committed to mitigating human suffering, especially within war-torn nations, children, and women, is a testament to my deeply rooted connection to my Somali heritage and identity. Having spent a significant portion of my formative years in Somalia, I have witnessed firsthand the harrowing effects of conflict on innocent lives. These experiences have fueled an unwavering determination to make a difference. Inspired by my mother, a dedicated philanthropist whose compassionate endeavors have always been a source of admiration, I recognized the pressing need to channel my empathy into action. Al Hasanaat was born from a profound desire to alleviate the anguish endured by countless individuals, who, much like my own people, become inadvertent victims of conflict. By extending a helping hand to those most vulnerable, my goal is to create a lasting impact and foster a brighter future for generations to come.”
